About Me

I have been working as Trixie the clown in Louisiana since April of 2008. I specialize in balloon animals and full-face painting. I am always looking for new ideas and inspirations for my living works of art.
 
Trixie's Alter ego...
My name is Laura Smith. I have been a performer as long as I can remember. I was always dancing and singing since I was a little girl, and I remember dress-up as being my favorite past-time. I graduated high school in 2005 and went straight to Louisiana State University. I originally majored in broadcast journalism, but soon switched to theater performance (in hopes of one day performing on Broadway) and graduated from college December 2010. I began working as a clown in 2008 and it opened a whole new world for me. I gave myself a new passion in life and opened my own children's entertainment business April 2011. I am finally living my dream and I am loving every minute of it.

That was a birthday party that can never be topped!!! Or what about the times you have appeared at various events (Fishin' Galore, the DCT Christmas party) where a child's smile to a parent is the most amazing & priceless thing given the fact that most are still in treatment! I will say I'm so glad to have met you & you are fabulous at what you do & how a child's face lights up when they see you & how much of a huge heart you have for children!!!
